The project involving ten public universities in Andalusia oriented to work on the Cultural and Natural Heritage was presented last monday at the invitation of the Ministry of Education, an action that aims at achieving the mark of the International Campus of Excellence.

Thus the members of the Project Steering Committee began the work of CEI Innovation Club with a visit to the Campus Foundation Condorcet, Paris entity formed by a total of eight universities working in Paris around the creation of a Campus thematic excellence around the humanities.

World Heritage Centre of UNESCO On the first trip Innovation Club members of the Steering Committee of the International Campus Project for Excellence in Cultural and Natural Heritage visited the World Heritage Centre of UNESCO and held a meeting with representatives of that body.
The Centre, established in 1992, is the central focal point and coordinator within UNESCO for all matters related to World Heritage. Responsible for the daily management of the convention, organizes annual meetings of the World Heritage Committee and its Bureau, provides advice to States Parties in preparing nominations, coordinates information on the status of sites and the emergency measures undertaken when a site is threatened.

Meeting in Strasbourg The last visit of the Club of Innovation took place in Strasbourg, in which members of the Campus Project Leader International Excellence in Cultural and Natural Heritage met with team officials Campus of Excellence for the French university a meeting that took place in the Place de l `Universita in the day of June 9.

Selection
